The Bayswater Lacrosse Club was founded in 1939, and celebrated its 70th Anniversary in 2009.
The club has been located at Halliday Park in Bayswater since its inception, and has remained a key part in the Bayswater Community.
BLC boasts the best facilities of any Lacrosse Club in WA, which have been developed through the hard work of our members over many years.
From humble beginnings as a toilet block, to the initial clubrooms built many years ago, and further extensions in the early 90’s to the leading facility it is today. Not a club to settle with what we have, we upgraded our training lights to Match standard in early 2000.
Plans are currently underway to further develop the Halliday Park site, with improved disability access to the clubrooms, a refit of the buildings external structure as well as the provision of a balcony to further enhance our supporters experience. Other renovations planned are increased storage area for our facility partners the Aim Archery Group. Their increased storage will mean we will once again have two change rooms, to improve our facilites.
While we continue to develop our facilities a key focus over the next years will be to rejuvenate our junior team numbers to ensure we have members to enjoy the facilites., with a renewed school recruitment program.
In 2010 we are fielding a side in a majority of Lacrosse WA competitions, and are eagerly awaiting finals so that we can build oun our trophy cabinet. For details on game times and locations visit the individual team pages on the site.
