2012 World Sports Expo - February 11 and 12

Lacrosse WA has secured a booth at the 2012 World Sports Expo to be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on the weekend of February 11 and 12.

Lacrosse WA are seeking volunteers to help man the booth throughout the convention and promote lacrosse to the 1000’s of kids and families that will be coming through.

There are two areas where they are looking for volunteers as detailed below;

Information Stall -Volunteers are needed to man the stall for the duration on a roster basis.  Lacrosse WA will provide flyers with all club contacts on it, We will also supply BLC flyers to hand out.   LacrosseWA  would like a combination of clubs, gender, experience and youth. The expo is a great recruitment exercise and we want good maximise the benefit for Baysie moving into the 2012 season.

Interactive area- The also require outgoing people and development officers to get children involved in the interactive area. The interactive area will feature goals and some sticks as a “come and try” event for young children and their families.

Both areas will be a fun environment for everyone and as mentioned a great opportunity to promote our club and lacrosse in general.

The timeslots at this stage are in 2 hour blocks.

• 1-3pm
• 3-5pm
