Over the years BLC has had some great service both on and off the field from international players. In a change of fortunes at the moment we seem to be exporting as many players as we are importing, over the course of this year we will be highlighting the exploits of the exports, and checking in with some old friends to see what they are up to.

Currently BLC has Max Rowse, Matthew and Daniel Shields all playing Lacrosse in the USA. The experience these  boys will gain playing lacrosse day in and day out in a highly competitive environment will be of enormous benefit to the club when they return.

When they left the boys were all together at St Andrews College in North Carolina, however due to some School issues with the team and the League they were playing in the boys have chosen to change schools.

To find out what is new and where the boys are headed for the 2012 season, we asked them to check in with a few details;

Max has transferred from St Andrews to Piedmont College which is situated in Demorest, Georgia it is a Divsion 3 school with a  new lacrosse program.

Their first game is 24 February and on the Schedule this year is Ferrum College where Max will be able to renew a rivalry with Adam Sear (Wembley Lacrosse Club) who is an Assistant Coach.

On the other side of the coin, Matty and Dan have chosen to follow their St Andrews coach to Mount Olive College which is in North Carolina.

By following their coach they have committed to a brand new program that will play their first games in 2013.

We all look forward to see what the boys will be able to accomplish in 2013 after a full year of conditioning and practice.
